Bicycle Day 2019

On this day in 1943, Swiss Chemist Dr Albert Hoffman became the first person to synthesise the infamous psychedelic LSD. A few days later he was the first person to ever ingest the compound, and had a fateful bicycle ride that has been commemorated the world over by psychedelic enthusiasts, known as Bicycle Day. The use of LSD is controversial but its impact on culture has been profound. This is a selection of my artwork picked specifically to commemorate this occassion.
